In order to ensure that we have a safe and comfortable learning environment students in my class are required to follow 5 classroom rules. The rules are:
1) Be trustworthy and truthful.
2) Be kind and show respect (for yourself, others, and their property)
3) Listen carefully and follow directions.
4) Have a positive attitude!
5) Do your personal best!
When a student breaks one of the above rules he or she will face the following consequences:
1st time-Warning.
2nd time-Name goes on board.
3rd time-Checkmark goes by name on board.
4th time-Student is taken to Principal's Office (possible phone call home).
5th time-Conference with parents, student, teacher and principal.
*Depending on the severity of the situation some steps may be skipped.
